and never buy a ford 6.0 diesel, everything goes bad quick. but you will have to eventually replace the tranny in the dodge cummins. a cummins or a ford 7.3 is the best 2 motors ever made. i swear on my life it will go that far or further! no exaggerations! but whatever you choose, best of luck! long story short that trans. please please, save your hard earned money and take my advice! spend a little more on a diesel and it will go over 600 thousand miles and more! as long as you keep it maintained, oil, air filter, diesel injector cleaner occasionally. especially the v-10! they will blow in a heartbeat if you pull too much. if your using the truck for work or if you plan on pulling anything go for the diesel!!! i cannot say it enough, gas work trucks are useless. the only practical application for a gas motor is in personal vehicles only. but don't buy that truck! never buy a gasoline powered super duty work truck.
